Woolwich: An 18-year-old boy was stabbed outside Shooter’s Hill College. This happened around 4:20 PM on January 6, and he was quickly taken to the hospital.

Sadly, he’s in a life-threatening condition right now. The college has announced it will be closed to students on January 8, 2025.

They’ve sent messages to students and parents about the closure. But if students have exams, they still need to show up as those will go ahead.

Parents were told that students will be studying from home during this time. One parent, who didn’t want to be named, shared how scary it is to hear about a stabbing so close to home.

Another local mentioned seeing a lot of police and ambulances in the area, which was really unsettling. It’s just too common these days.

Abdou, a long-time resident, said he’s not shocked by the incident. He noted that the area gets chaotic with students before and after school, and fights often break out.

Police have stated that this stabbing isn’t connected to a fatal attack that happened on a bus the next day. So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

If anyone has information, they’re encouraged to call 101 and reference CAD 4354.
