Delhi: So, the Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece, Saamana, has thrown some serious shade at the BJP. They’re calling out the party for ignoring major national issues while gearing up for the Delhi assembly elections in 2025.

In their editorial, they pointed out that the election schedule is set, with voting on February 5 and results on February 8. They claim that top BJP leaders are all in for this election, but what about the bigger problems?

They highlighted that while the BJP is focused on defeating Arvind Kejriwal, there are pressing issues like China’s moves in Ladakh and violence in Manipur that need attention. It’s like they’re saying, “Hey, there’s a lot going on, but you’re just fixated on winning in Delhi!”

Saamana accused the BJP of using extreme tactics to take down the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). They’re suggesting that the BJP thinks it’s more important to win elections than to deal with serious national concerns.

The editorial also mentioned some shady stuff about the electoral process, claiming there are discrepancies in the voter list. They even brought up how AAP is saying that people from Eastern Uttar Pradesh are being unfairly removed from the list.

They didn’t hold back on questioning the Chief Election Commissioner either, asking what world he’s living in. They referenced some past controversies in the U.S. regarding election integrity, hinting that similar issues could be happening in India.

Saamana went on to allege that the BJP’s victories are often not straightforward, suggesting they’ve rigged the system in the past. They even pointed to the 2019 Maharashtra elections as an example of this alleged anomaly.

They also took a jab at the Election Commission, claiming it’s biased, especially regarding the symbol allocation during the Maharashtra political crisis. It’s like they’re saying, “How can you talk about fairness when you’ve done this?”

In a bold statement, they warned that the BJP’s time in power won’t last forever and that the upcoming Delhi elections could be a turning point for them.

Lastly, they criticized the Congress party for not focusing on the BJP and instead targeting AAP. They’re clearly frustrated with the political landscape and the role of the Delhi Lieutenant Governor, suggesting he’s acting more like a BJP agent than an impartial overseer.
