London: A serious crash in Shepherd’s Bush is causing a real mess on the roads. Emergency repairs are also happening because of a burst water main that shot water into the air.

The Met Police have closed the western side of Shepherd’s Bush Green. This happened around 11 am on Tuesday. Drivers should avoid the area if they can.

Traffic is backed up from Goldhawk Road to Uxbridge Road. It’s a busy spot, and congestion is spilling over to Shepherd’s Bush Road and Holland Road.

There are delays on Uxbridge Road too, especially near Shepherd’s Bush Market. A dozen bus routes are being diverted because of the chaos.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council shared an update on Nextdoor. They warned that all four lanes on the western side of Shepherd’s Bush Green are closed due to the accident and emergency water works.

They advised drivers to take alternative routes if heading east on Goldhawk Road towards Westfield or Holland Park. Expect delays in the area.

Traffic is being redirected down Lime Grove to Uxbridge Road by the police. Stay tuned for the latest updates from emergency services.
