Sheep Run Wild After Trailer Crash on Bridge in Melton
A trailer accident in Melton left sheep roaming freely on the road, causing chaos.

Melton: A trailer carrying sheep flipped over today, causing quite a scene. Emergency services rushed to Leicester Street around 11:45 AM.
Leicestershire Police got the call after a tractor towing the trailer crashed on the bridge over the River Eye. Photos from the scene show the trailer tipped on its side.
And guess what? The sheep were all over the place! An eyewitness described it as “awful,” saying everyone did their best to help out.
Luckily, a police spokesperson mentioned that no people were hurt, and they had no updates on any sheep injuries. No arrests were made either.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service also showed up, with two fire crews still on-site later in the day. The trailer is waiting to be towed away.
