San Antonio: Shedeur Sanders seems pretty sure about his future. Just before what might be his last college game, he flaunted some custom cleats featuring the New York Giants’ colors and logo. The Giants currently hold the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, so it’s a bold statement.

But when game time came, he opted for plain black cleats instead. Still, the message was clear: he’s got his eyes set on the top spot. His family has been vocal about their expectations for him in the draft. Colorado’s head coach, Deion Sanders, even said, “The Giants are not giving up that pick … Shedeur’s going to be the No. 1 pick.”

There’s also talk that Shedeur might pull an Eli Manning move if he gets picked by a team he doesn’t want to play for. The Giants, with their rough 2-13 record, are in a prime position for that top pick, but they’re not the only ones in the running.

Interestingly, while some see Shedeur as a top prospect, others aren’t so sure. A recent mock draft suggested the Giants might go for Miami’s Cam Ward instead, leaving Sanders to land with the Raiders at No. 6. So, while he’s confident, he’s got a lot to prove to the NFL.

On a related note, another Colorado player, Travis Hunter, wore custom Heisman cleats during the Alamo Bowl. He’s also in the mix for the No. 1 pick, depending on which team ends up with that selection. Hunter’s unique talent makes him a standout prospect this year.
