Hove: Exciting news! A former restaurant is getting a makeover into a shared house. The old Artisa Café and Gallery at 42 Waterloo Street is the spot.

The Brighton and Hove City Council gave the thumbs up for this change during a meeting at Hove Town Hall. It was a quick decision, no debates or anything.

Rob Hogley, a property investor, is all set to convert the building into a cozy home for six people. This is a smaller plan than the last one, which aimed for eight residents but got turned down.

In this new setup, all the bedrooms will be on the upper floors, and they’ll even have cooking facilities. Plus, there’ll be a shared bathroom and toilet on the first floor.

Down in the basement, folks can enjoy a communal living room, dining area, and kitchen, along with a snug for some relaxation. Sounds like a great place to live!
