San Francisco: So, Kyle Shanahan is really counting on Joshua Dobbs to step up big time in the 49ers’ last game of the season. With Brock Purdy out nursing an elbow injury, Dobbs is taking the reins against his old team, the Arizona Cardinals. Shanahan’s got faith in him, saying he’s been preparing like a champ.

In a recent chat, Shanahan praised Dobbs for his quick thinking and ability to make plays. He mentioned how Dobbs jumped right in during the game against the Lions, showing no fear and even scoring a touchdown. It’s clear that Shanahan believes Dobbs can handle the pressure and lead the team effectively.

Even though Dobbs hasn’t had a ton of chances to shine with the 49ers, he did show some promise in that game against Detroit. He completed most of his passes and even managed to score a rushing touchdown. Fans are hoping he can bring that same energy to the field this Sunday.

Interestingly, Dobbs had a solid performance against the 49ers earlier this season when he was with the Cardinals. He threw for over 260 yards and two touchdowns, which definitely caught Shanahan’s eye. It’s no wonder they brought him on board this summer; they saw his potential and wanted him as a backup plan.

Now, with Purdy sidelined, it’s Dobbs’ time to shine. Shanahan is excited to see what he can do, and fans are eager to watch him take charge. It’s going to be an interesting game for sure!
