Ilkeston: So, there’s this crazy story about a guy named David Brudenell. He’s 40 and from Derbyshire, and he was caught on camera stalking a woman on her way to work. Can you believe that?
He used a fake Facebook profile to send her some really creepy messages. Like, he even put her face on explicit images and sent her voice messages. Super unsettling, right?
To make things worse, he snapped a picture of her and sent it, showing what she was wearing that day. Yikes! The woman reported him, and the police tracked him down through his online account.
They found footage of him following her around Ilkeston. But it didn’t stop there. He also harassed six other women, sending them explicit messages and even left a voicemail threatening to rape one of them. Just awful!
In the end, Brudenell got a prison sentence of four years and four months. He admitted to stalking and causing serious distress. It’s a relief to see justice served, but it’s just sad that this kind of thing happens.
