Scarborough: So, another seal has decided to chill on the beach! This time, it’s an adult female Grey seal, and she’s drawing quite the crowd. Just yesterday, folks were buzzing about Bernie, the first seal who made a splash on the lifeboat ramp.

Now, this new seal is getting her beauty sleep on the sand, and everyone’s loving it. The British Divers Marine Life Rescue team has set up a cordon to keep curious onlookers at bay, letting her snooze in peace. They mentioned she looks pretty healthy, which is great news for winter.

They shared on social media that seals need to haul out of the water to rest and digest. It’s super important that people don’t disturb them, especially with kids or pets around. Stress can really affect these lovely creatures.

So far, it seems like the public is being respectful. No loose dogs have bothered her, and people are asking great questions about seals. Lee Peace from Active Security Solutions even praised the team for their quick response and help in keeping the seal safe. It’s heartwarming to see the community come together for such a beautiful animal!

Honestly, it’s one of those moments that’ll stick with you. If you want to keep up with all the latest happenings on the Yorkshire coast, don’t forget to sign up for the newsletter!
