Geehi: A search is back on for a missing bushwalker who was last seen on Boxing Day. Hadi Nazari, just 23, was hiking the Hannels Spur trail when he disappeared.

His friends got worried when he didn’t show up at their meeting spot. They reported him missing, and since then, the search has been intense.

On Tuesday, some items believed to belong to Hadi were found, but there’s still been no sign of him. It’s been tough out there, with the heat and rugged terrain making things tricky.

Over 300 people have joined the search, including volunteers and various agencies. They’ve been working hard, even camping out overnight to keep looking.

On Sunday, 36 searchers were in the park, backed by two aircraft. The temperatures hit a scorching 37C, but they’re hoping for a cooler day ahead.

There was also a fire in the area, but it’s been brought under control. The Hannels Spur trail is known for being one of the toughest hikes in Australia, so everyone’s on high alert.
