Aberdeen: Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32, were last spotted on CCTV in Market Street after leaving home early Tuesday morning.
They crossed the Victoria Bridge and headed towards the River Dee, moving in the direction of the Aberdeen Boat Club. It’s been four days since they went missing, and the search has now expanded to the coast.
Specialist teams, police dogs, and even a marine unit are all involved in the search. The sisters, who are triplets originally from Hungary, have their family deeply worried.
Authorities are now searching areas near the Port of Aberdeen’s South Harbour and Duthie Park. Police Scotland is also in touch with their relatives back in Hungary to provide support.
Chief Inspector Darren Bruce expressed the family’s concerns and emphasized that they are doing everything possible to find the sisters. He urged anyone with information to come forward, especially if they were in the area around the time the sisters went missing.
He also asked local businesses to check their CCTV footage from early Tuesday morning and to share anything that might help the investigation. Every little bit of information could be crucial.
