Geehi: The search for Hadi Nazari is still on after five long days. He went missing while hiking in Australia’s highest mountain ranges.

Hadi, just 23, was last spotted by friends around 2:30 PM on December 26. He was heading down the Hannels Spur Trail in Kosciuszko National Park.

He was supposed to meet up with two friends at the Geehi campground, but when he didn’t show, they started looking for him.

His sister, Zahra, mentioned that he planned to hang back and take some photos. Sadly, he hasn’t come back since.

She’s been asking for more help, saying the area is huge and dense, and more people could really speed up the search.

Hadi is an experienced hiker, so there’s hope he’s managing out there. He had camping gear and was dressed for the conditions.

Authorities were notified about his disappearance on Thursday night, and they’ve been searching by foot and vehicle since then.

On Friday, the search ramped up with help from various agencies, including the National Parks and Wildlife Service and SES.

They even brought in a helicopter with infrared technology to aid in the search, but so far, there’s been no luck.

While everyone is worried, they’re holding onto the fact that Hadi knows what he’s doing out there.
