Aberdeen: The search for the two sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, is now in its second week. Teams are still combing the River Dee area, hoping to find any clues.

Last seen on CCTV in the early hours of January 7, the sisters were heading towards Torry. They crossed a bridge and walked along a path by the river.

Authorities have been using helicopters, dogs, and marine units in their search. So far, they haven’t found any evidence suggesting the sisters left the area.

The family is understandably worried and has asked anyone with information to reach out. They just want their loved ones back safe.

Jozsef, their brother, mentioned that their mom spoke to them just days before they went missing, and everything seemed normal.

Eliza and Henrietta, originally from Hungary, are part of a set of triplets. They’re described as white, slim, and have long brown hair.

Police are working closely with their counterparts in Hungary to keep the family updated. They’re urging anyone who might have seen something to get in touch.

Chief Inspector Darren Bruce reassured the family that they’re doing everything possible to find the sisters. He’s also asking the public to think back to that night for any potential leads.

Even small bits of information could be vital, so if you have any footage or details, please share them. The police are really counting on the community’s help.

If you have any information, you can contact the police at 101 and reference incident number 0735 from January 7, 2025.
