Aberdeen: The search for the missing sisters has been going on for over a week now. Detectives are back at the river where they were last spotted.
Police Scotland is still looking for Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, both 32. They went missing from their home in the city center.
These sisters, originally from Hungary, were last seen on CCTV at Market Street near the Victoria Bridge over the River Dee. That was around 2:12 AM on January 7.
After crossing the bridge, they turned right onto a footpath by the river, heading toward the Aberdeen Boat Club. It’s a bit concerning, to say the least.
Officers are keeping an open mind about what might have happened. So far, there’s no evidence of any crime or that someone else was involved.
One theory is that they might have accidentally ended up in the water. The search teams, including a helicopter and marine unit, are focusing on the river and nearby areas.
Their family is really worried and has asked anyone with information to come forward. They just want their loved ones to be found.
