Derry: Seany O’Kane was turned away from a Moscow airport due to visa issues. He has lived and worked in Russia for many years. Seany is also known for being a contestant on Big Brother.

He owns a popular Telegram channel called ‘Moscow Pals’. This platform helps foreigners in Russia. Seany loves Russian culture and wants to share a positive view of the country.

On December 18, he was denied entry at Moscow Airport. Sources say he tried to enter on a tourist visa. However, he needed a visa that matched his business activities.

The number of British and Irish people in Russia has dropped since the war in Ukraine. Economic sanctions have also played a role.

Moscow Pals includes a channel for financial questions about withdrawing money from Russia. This has caught the attention of Russian authorities.
