Los Angeles: The Rams are on a bit of a roll, winning three games in a row and boosting their record to 8-6. But honestly, it’s been a wild ride with how they’ve pulled it off.
Take their last game against the Saints, for example. They were totally shut out for over a half but managed to come back and snag a 21-14 win thanks to a clutch touchdown catch by Puka Nacua in the fourth quarter. Then, just when you think they’ve got it all figured out, they go home and outlast the Bills in a crazy 44-42 shootout. It’s hard to believe that same defense was on the field just a few days later against the 49ers.
In that game, the defense that struggled against the Bills turned it around, allowing only two field goals in a tight 12-6 win. It’s been a roller coaster for sure! After the game, McVay mentioned he wants to see the team put together a complete game, but he’s also thrilled with how they can adapt to different situations.
“What’s really cool is this team has found a bunch of different ways to win,” McVay said. He pointed out how they went from a high-scoring game to a defensive battle and still got the job done. He praised the defense for stepping up when it mattered most.
McVay called his defense resilient and noted that the whole team is improving after a rough start to the season. With the playoffs around the corner, it seems like the Rams are finally hitting their stride at just the right time.
