Seattle: So, Geno Smith had to leave the game against the Packers with a knee injury. It was a tough loss for the Seahawks, ending 30-13.
The injury happened in the third quarter when the Packers were leading 20-3. Smith was trying to make a play when he got hit by a linebacker. He landed awkwardly and you could tell it hurt.
Even though he was in pain, he managed to walk off the field with some help. But you could see he was frustrated, slamming his helmet when he got to the sideline.
Backup quarterback Sam Howell stepped in but struggled a bit. He only completed 5 of 14 passes for 24 yards and threw an interception. Not great, right?
This loss puts the Seahawks at 8-6, tied with the Rams for the top spot in the NFC West. If Smith’s injury is serious, it could really hurt their chances of making the playoffs.
We’re still waiting for more details on his injury, but it’s definitely a situation to keep an eye on. The Commanders are right behind them, so every game counts!
