Aberdeen: The family of two sisters, Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, is really worried. They’ve been missing for almost a week now. The last time anyone saw them was on CCTV in Aberdeen, and despite a big search, there’s been no sign of them.

Locals near where they were last seen reported hearing screams around the time the sisters disappeared. It was early on Tuesday, January 7, when they went missing. Their family has made a heartfelt appeal for help through Police Scotland, expressing their deep concern for the sisters.

They just want to find Eliza and Henrietta. The family is asking anyone with information to come forward. They appreciate the support they’ve received but also want some privacy during this tough time.

Eliza works as a hotel cleaner, and Henrietta is employed at a Costa Coffee shop. They were last spotted on Market Street at Victoria Bridge around 2:12 AM. After crossing the bridge, they headed towards a footpath next to the River Dee.

Originally from Hungary, the sisters moved to Scotland about seven years ago. Residents near the river mentioned hearing a disturbance that night, which has raised alarms.

One local described it as pretty scary, noting how dark the path is around the river. A scream in that darkness is something you wouldn’t forget easily. It makes you wonder if one sister was calling for help after falling in, and the other went to assist.

The search is ongoing, with police using helicopters, dogs, and marine units to comb the River Dee area. They’re focusing on both the water and the banks, looking for any clues.

CCTV footage is being reviewed, and police are also doing door-to-door inquiries in the neighborhood. Chief Inspector Darren Bruce is leading the investigation and is in regular contact with the family.

He emphasized that the community is concerned and urged anyone with information to reach out. They’re gathering all available footage and asking anyone with private cameras to share anything that might help.

The sisters’ third triplet, Edit, and their brother, Joszef, said the last time they spoke, everything seemed fine. They’re just as puzzled by the sudden disappearance.
