Trains won’t run between Glasgow Central and East Kilbride via Busby from January 25 to May 18. Engineers are working hard to modernize the line during this time.
This project costs £140 million. It includes upgrades to tracks, signals, bridges, and overhead lines. The goal is to improve reliability and decarbonize rail services.
ScotRail announced the new bus pick-up point. It will move from the ‘White Cart Pub & Grill’ side to the ‘Clarkston’ side of the railway.
A ScotRail spokesperson said, “Please be aware that from Monday, we’re changing where replacement buses pick up/drop off due to community feedback.”
