Schoolgirl, 11, hit by car on Marsh Lane

Bootle: So, there was this incident on Marsh Lane where an 11-year-old girl got hit by a car. It happened around 3:20 PM on a Tuesday. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the road was partially closed for a bit.

Witnesses said there were loads of police around the Marsh Lane bridge. The driver actually stopped right there, which is good. Luckily, the girl didn’t have any serious injuries, so that’s a relief.

Merseyside Police confirmed they got a report about the collision and that the girl was involved. They reassured everyone that she was okay, which is the best news we could hope for.
