School Closures Announced for Thursday, January 9 Due to Weather
Severe weather conditions have led to multiple school closures and delayed starts across the region on January 9

Leeds: So, it looks like the weather’s really taken a turn today. Schools are closing or starting late because of some pretty nasty icy conditions. It’s a bit of a mess out there!
South SILC Broomfield is completely closed, while Windmill, Rodilian, and White Rose sites are hoping to open at 10 AM. Fingers crossed for them!
Springwell Leeds Academy is also closed for the day. And Westwood Primary School is starting late, but they’ll check the situation first to make sure it’s safe.
