Sanjina DaBish Queen gets honest about the cost of drag and being a trans role model

Toronto: So, Sanjina DaBish Queen just had a wild ride on Canada’s Drag Race Season 5. She won a mini challenge but got eliminated after a lip sync battle against Uma Gahd. Bummer, right?

She opened up about how tough it was to go home early, especially being one of the first Toronto queens to leave. Sanjina felt like she had more to give and that her outfit could have saved her. She really thought she had a shot at staying.

But it’s not just about the money. Sanjina wants to use her platform to inspire others, especially in the trans community. She talked about her own experiences with body image and her relationship with her mom, which hasn’t been easy.

She’s passionate about being a role model for kids who might not have had someone to look up to. Sanjina believes she was born to inspire and wants to shine a light on the trans experience.

Looking ahead, she’s got big plans! Sanjina is working on a one-woman show called “Becoming Sanjina,” which will tell her life story in a Bollywood style. Plus, she’s open to returning for an All Stars season, especially if she gets to work with stars like Vanessa Vanjie Mateo or Kandy Muse.
