London: Since her breakup with Eamonn Holmes in May, Ruth Langsford has been on a roll, reportedly shedding about a stone and a half. At 64, she’s looking fab, and her followers on Instagram have been all about the compliments lately.
Personal trainer Laurel Alper weighed in on Ruth’s new look, saying she seems to have gone from a size 16 to a 14. You can really see the difference in her middle, thighs, and face, which is awesome!
Ruth has always been open about her weight and diet. Recently, she shared a peek into her healthier routine on Instagram. She posted a photo of her packed lunch, which included boiled eggs, turkey, and salad, plus her go-to green juice.
She mentioned, “I take this to work most days. It helps me avoid unhealthy snacks. Even when I choose a salad, it’s mostly just leaves!”
Ruth’s transformation is impressive, and she’s been hitting her daily goal of 10,000 steps with her dog, Maggie. She’s also into high-intensity workouts, which is great for staying fit.
Even with her healthy lifestyle, Ruth has talked about the challenges she’s faced with her body after menopause. On Loose Women, she shared, “I’ve been lucky with weight gain, but menopause has been tough for me.”
