Mumbai: Royal Jordanian Airlines is back in action, resuming direct flights to India after more than ten years. They’re kicking things off with flights from Amman to Mumbai and Delhi this year.

It’s been a long wait since they last flew to India in 2014. The last flights were to Mumbai in September and to Delhi in October. But now, they’re ready to reconnect.

The new flights will start on April 17 for Mumbai and September 17 for Delhi, running four times a week. This is a great chance for travelers to explore over 45 international destinations through Amman. Plus, with the ‘Explore Jordan’ initiative, they’re highlighting amazing spots like Petra and the Dead Sea.

Royal Jordanian will use Airbus A320 Neo planes for these routes, which will have dual-class seating, in-flight entertainment, and WiFi. They’re also adding 19 new aircraft to their fleet, including A320neo and Boeing 787 models.

Karim Makhlouf, the chief commercial officer, mentioned that this is a big step in promoting Jordan as a tourist hotspot for Indian travelers. They want to show off what Jordan has to offer while boosting trade and economic ties between the two countries.

And it’s not just the airline that’s excited. Mumbai International Airport is ready to welcome Royal Jordanian back, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing the travel experience with top-notch facilities. This new route is all about making travel easier and more convenient for everyone.
