Romsey: The Romsey Town Council and Unity are bringing back the Volunteer Fair on Sunday, January 19, at the Town Hall. It’s going to be a great day!

From 10:30 AM to 3 PM, over 25 organizations will be there, ready to meet you. It’s a perfect chance to learn about local charities and how you can help.

The fair will kick off with Romsey Town Mayor, Cllr John Parker, officially opening the event. He’s excited about the fair returning for its third year.

Cllr Parker mentioned how important volunteers are to the community. He said, “It’s the volunteers who are the unsung heroes of every charity and organization.”

Terry Bishop, Unity’s chief executive, also shared his enthusiasm. He said the Volunteer Centre is thrilled to partner with the Town Council again to promote local charities and their volunteering opportunities.

So, if you’re curious about how you can contribute, this is a great chance to ask questions and find out more. Plus, it’s free, and no booking is needed!
