Romsey: The Romsey & District Railway Modellers Society is back with its 45th Annual exhibition. It’s happening on Saturday, March 1, and Sunday, March 2. This event showcases a variety of model train layouts, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights is the society’s new layout, Penzance, in OO gauge. This will be its first public showing. There’s also a fun Playmobile layout created by Steve Prestidge. Expect a mix of creativity and skill!

The society will donate £1,000 to local charities this year. It’s great to see them giving back to the community while sharing their passion for model trains. The exhibition opens at 10:30 AM on Saturday and 10:00 AM on Sunday, with refreshments available both days.

Entry fees are £7 for adults, £3 for kids aged 5 to 16, and £17 for families. The society aims for quality over size, ensuring a great experience for all attendees. They focus on reliable and entertaining layouts, making sure each one meets their standards.
