London: So, Robbie Williams just got the green light to chop down a tree at his fancy mansion. This tree, a Norway Maple, is not doing so hot. It’s got this nasty Honey Fungus, and it’s pretty much on its last legs.

Planning folks looked at the tree and said it’s got a sparse canopy and the bark is peeling back, showing some weird white fungus. The tree experts from Putney Tree Surgeons said it’s time to say goodbye to the tree and plant something new.

Now, one neighbor wasn’t too happy about this. They thought the application was lacking details and wanted more info from a tree expert about what could be done to save it. But despite the fuss, Robbie got the thumbs up to take it down.

As part of the deal, he has to plant a tulip tree or something similar in its place. On another note, Robbie’s also in the spotlight for a new biopic called Better Man. It dives into his life, including his struggles with addiction, and he’s even portrayed as a monkey in the film, which he says reflects how he feels about performing.
