Gloucestershire: Recent heavy rain has led to early road closures. Engineers are working on flood prevention near the A417 Missing Link Project. National Highways announced overnight closures of the A436 this week, with a 12-mile diversion for drivers.
The A436 will close overnight from 9 PM to 6 AM on February 6 and 7. This closure affects a two-mile stretch between the Air Balloon roundabout and the Seven Springs roundabout.
National Highways explained that the work is to install permanent drainage. They apologized for the short notice due to the weather changes. They appreciate everyone’s patience during this time.
