Road Closed as Police Respond to Serious Crash in Ashford

Ashford: A road is closed due to a serious crash. Police were called to Bad Munstereifel Road on Tuesday evening. They arrived and quickly sealed off the area near Junction 10A of the M20.
National Highways says the road will be closed for several hours. Police haven’t confirmed the details of the incident yet.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and find another route. A police spokesperson mentioned that officers are on the scene and emergency services are responding.
They expect the road to stay closed for a while. National Highways also confirmed that the A2070 is closed in both directions for the ongoing police-led incident.
A diversion is set up for southbound traffic. Drivers should follow the hollow triangle symbol. They will be redirected at Junction 10 of the M20 onto the A292 towards Ashford town center.
From there, traffic will go onto Wellesley Road, which merges into Station Road, then Beaver Road, changing to the A2042. This route continues until it meets the roundabout junction.
Northbound traffic should follow the hollow diamond symbol. They will be turned back onto the A2042 to travel towards Ashford town center, following the reverse route.
