Reward of £50k offered in hunt for killer of Greater Manchester schoolgirl 40 years ago

Leigh: It’s been 40 years since the tragic murder of 14-year-old Lisa Hession, and police are still searching for answers. They’ve just announced a £50,000 reward for any information that could help solve this heartbreaking case.

Lisa was attacked in an alleyway near her home after returning from a party. Her mom, Christine, reported her missing shortly after she was due back. Sadly, Christine passed away in 2016 without ever knowing who killed her daughter.

The police have been working hard on this case, even using DNA evidence, but they still haven’t found a match. They’re urging anyone who might remember something from that night to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.
