Restaurant Pine Unveils Exciting SecondBite Event in Newcastle

Restaurant Pine is gearing up for its SecondBite event to support Cancer Research UK in Newcastle this July

Newcastle: Restaurant Pine is buzzing with excitement as it gears up for its fundraiser, SecondBite, supporting Cancer Research UK. This year, they’re aiming to beat last year’s impressive total of £82,063.

On July 6, the event will showcase 20 top Michelin-starred chefs whipping up unique street food dishes. With only 500 portions of each dish, you’ll want to grab your favorites fast. Entry is free, but you can snag dish tokens for £10 ahead of time.

Some of the chefs joining the fun include Chet Sharma from BiBi in London, Gareth Ward from Ynyshir in Wales, Tom Shepherd from Restaurant Upstairs in Lichfield, and Ian Waller from Restaurant Pine itself. It’s going to be a culinary treat!

All the money raised will go directly to Cancer Research UK, helping with their vital work in cancer prevention and treatment. Siân Byerley, co-owner of Pine, shared that they want to make this year’s event even bigger and better than last year.

Gareth Ward emphasized the importance of supporting this cause, noting that many of us know someone affected by cancer. He encouraged everyone to come out, enjoy the food, and buy lots of tokens.
