Las Vegas: It seems like Maxx Crosby’s 2024 season is pretty much done. He’s already out for the game against the Falcons, and now he’s set to have ankle surgery soon.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Crosby has been dealing with this ankle issue since Week 2. He didn’t practice at all last week because of it.
Even with the injury, Crosby has been a beast on the field, leading the league with 17 tackles for loss. He’s also got 7.5 sacks and 20 quarterback hits this season.
He’s scheduled to meet with Dr. Rob Anderson on Monday for the surgery. They’ll check out how bad the ankle really is and see if he needs more work done.
This is a tough break for Crosby, who hadn’t missed a game in his career until this season. He was out for the Week 4 win against Cleveland because of the same ankle issue. Since being drafted in 2019, he’s racked up 59.5 career sacks and 105 tackles for loss in 95 games.
