Sacramento: Big news for Kings fans! Rookie Devin Carter is back in action after his shoulder surgery. He had a torn labrum fixed back in July, and now he’s cleared for unrestricted play.

Carter, who was the 13th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, is expected to join the G League Stockton Kings soon. He’ll be getting some live game experience, which is super exciting.

Last season at Providence, he was a standout, averaging nearly 20 points and snagging almost 9 rebounds per game. He even earned the Big East Player of the Year award!

The Kings have had a rough start this season, sitting at 13-17. They’ve lost four straight at home, so Carter’s return is a bright spot for the team. Coach Mike Brown is hoping he can help turn things around.

For now, Carter’s focus is on getting back into shape and making his professional debut. Fans are definitely looking forward to seeing him on the court soon!
