New Orleans: So, there’s some buzz going around about Derek Carr. It seems like the Saints’ interim coach, Darren Rizzi, might have been a bit too optimistic about Carr’s return.

According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Media, Carr is now seen as “very unlikely” to come back this season. Ouch, right?

He’s dealing with a fractured left hand, and it’s not just a small break. It’s fractured in two places! He recently had more tests done, and it looks like he’s still weeks away from being able to take any hits.

With only three weeks left in the season, it’s hard to see him making a comeback. It’s a tough break for him and the team.

This season, Carr has been doing pretty well, completing nearly 68% of his passes for over 2,100 yards, with 15 touchdowns and just five picks in ten games. Let’s hope he heals up soon!
