San Francisco: The 49ers are in a bit of a pickle with their offensive line. They’ve been hit hard by injuries, and it looks like they’re searching for some fresh talent to step in.

Recently, they brought in four offensive linemen for workouts: Austen Pleasants, David Sharpe, Zack Johnson, and Jaylen Mayfield. This was reported by Aaron Wilson from KPRC 2 Houston.

Even though the season isn’t going their way, they still need to put a team on the field for the last three games. Right now, their tackle situation is looking pretty thin.

Trent Williams, their star left tackle, has been sidelined with an ankle injury since mid-November. His backup, Jaylon Moore, also missed practice due to an undisclosed injury, although he was seen working on the side.

Pleasants is an undrafted free agent who’s bounced around a bit, while Sharpe has some experience with 46 games under his belt. Johnson recently played in the United Football League before signing with the Browns, and Mayfield, a former third-round pick, has had his share of ups and downs with injuries.

It’ll be interesting to see if the 49ers decide to sign one of these guys to their practice squad before their upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins. They need all the help they can get!
