San Francisco: So, it looks like the 49ers are thinking about bringing back Robert Saleh as their defensive coordinator. He used to hold that position before heading to the Jets.
According to a source, Nick Sorensen won’t be back next season, which opens the door for Saleh. He was with the 49ers from 2017 to 2020 and did a solid job.
After a rough time with the Jets, where he got fired after a couple of tough seasons, Saleh is now a consultant for the Packers. But it seems he’s also eyeing a head coach spot with the Jaguars.
It’ll be interesting to see if he wants to return to the 49ers. If he does, it could be a great fit for both sides. Fans are definitely curious about what’s next!
