Inverness: So, there’s been a bit of a hiccup with the water supply in Inverness. Folks in the IV2 area, including Raigmore and Millburn, are dealing with a water outage. It all kicked off early this morning when a burst pipe was reported around 5:25 am.

Scottish Water initially thought they could fix it by 11 am, but that got pushed back to 4 pm. Now, they’re saying it’ll be 8 pm before everything’s back to normal. It’s a real bummer for residents who were hoping for a quick fix.

To make matters a bit tougher, Scottish Water mentioned they won’t be handing out bottled water this time. They’re working hard to get things sorted, and once the repair is done, water should start flowing back gradually. They’ll give another update around 8:30 pm, so fingers crossed for some good news then!
