London: Reform UK has topped a Sky News/YouGov poll for the first time. This marks a significant moment in British politics.

Nigel Farage’s party is now at 25%. Labour follows closely at 24%, while the Tories sit at 21%. The Lib Dems and Greens have 14% and 9%, respectively.

This poll was conducted over Sunday and Monday. It shows a shift towards three-party politics in the UK.

Even though Reform UK leads, the changes are within the margin of error. MPs from all parties will likely notice this shift.

Interestingly, one in five Tory voters from the last election would now choose Reform UK. This could impact the Tories significantly.

The poll also reveals Kemi Badenoch’s popularity has dropped. She now has a net favourability rating of -29, falling behind Farage.

Farage’s rating improved from -32 to -27. Meanwhile, Keir Starmer’s rating is even lower at -36.

Lib Dem leader Ed Davey is more popular, with a rating of -9. However, this doesn’t directly translate to voting intentions.

These results may reignite discussions within the Tory party about merging with Reform UK. Badenoch has previously rejected this idea.

Among Tory voters, 43% support a merger, while 31% oppose it. Reform UK voters are less supportive, with 40% against and 31% in favor.
