Redditch drug dealer jailed after M6 police chase

Redditch: So, there was this wild chase on the M6 involving a drug dealer named Theo Powell. The police tried to pull him over, but he just took off in his hire car.

They chased him all the way to Burbage, Leicester, back in November. Eventually, they managed to stop him, and guess what? They found a drone and a parcel of drugs wrapped in clingfilm in the car.

But that’s not all. When the cops searched his home, they found even more drugs stashed away. Powell, who lives on Bromsgrove Road, got hit with some serious charges, including possession with intent to supply various classes of drugs.

He ended up getting a five-year sentence at Warwick Crown Court last December. After the case, Detective Constable Matthew Rapkins spoke out about how drug dealing really harms vulnerable people in the community.

He emphasized that they’re going to keep targeting those involved in drugs and do everything they can to disrupt their activities. The police are really keen on getting tips from the public about any drug dealing happening around them.
