New York: Week 8 of fantasy basketball was a bit different. With the NBA Cup games, most teams played only once or twice. The Knicks were the exception, playing three times. This lighter schedule meant fewer injuries, but there were still some impressive performances to talk about.

One of the biggest stories was the trade of Dennis Schroder from the Nets to the Warriors. This move changes things for both teams. Schroder might not score as much now that he’s not the main guy anymore. Meanwhile, Ben Simmons could step up as the lead ball handler for the Nets.

Injuries also played a role this week. Scottie Barnes is out with an ankle injury, which is a bummer since he was just getting back into form. RJ Barrett will have to take on more responsibility now. Joel Embiid is also sidelined with a sinus fracture, which is tough luck for him after just returning from another injury.

On the bright side, Payton Pritchard had a fantastic week, scoring big in two games. He’s really stepping up for the Celtics lately. Ron Holland from the Pistons also shined, scoring a career-high 26 points in just one game. It’s exciting to see these young players making their mark.

RJ Barrett had a great week too, with a 30-point game and a triple-double. He’s been on fire this season, especially now that he has to carry more of the load with Barnes out. Tyrese Haliburton also had a solid stretch, showing he can be a key player for the Pacers.

Bilal Coulibaly bounced back after a rough patch, scoring well in his last two games. Tyus Jones is fitting in nicely with the Suns, contributing significantly alongside stars like Durant and Booker. Anfernee Simons is trying to find his rhythm again, and if he can stay healthy, he could be a scoring threat.

Finally, some superstar performances stood out this week. Luka Doncic had a jaw-dropping game with 45 points, while Anthony Davis and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also put up impressive numbers. It’s been a thrilling week in fantasy basketball, and there’s plenty to keep an eye on as the season rolls on.
