Ravens Release WR Diontae Johnson After Refusing to Play vs Eagles
Diontae Johnson’s refusal to play leads to his release from the Ravens after a disappointing game against the Eagles

Baltimore: So, here’s the scoop. Diontae Johnson, the wide receiver, just got cut by the Ravens. Can you believe it? He only joined the team a couple of months ago!
They let him go after he refused to play in that game against the Eagles. It was a tough loss, 24-19, and apparently, he just didn’t want to step on the field.
Johnson came over from the Panthers in a trade, and it seemed like a good move at the time. But things didn’t work out. He was only active for five games and caught just one pass for six yards.
Before the trade, he was doing great in Carolina, leading the team in catches and touchdowns. But in Baltimore, it was a different story.
Now, he’s on waivers, and any team can pick him up until Monday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Ravens have activated Anthony Miller from the practice squad to take his place.
