Toronto: So, the Raptors are in a bit of a pickle. Their top scorer, Scottie Barnes, got hurt during a game against the Knicks. He tried to block a shot, but things went south when Karl-Anthony Towns landed on his foot. Ouch!

Barnes went down hard and was clearly in pain, even saying he couldn’t feel his foot. He had to be helped off the court and didn’t come back. The next day, he was spotted in a walking boot at the team facility, which didn’t sound great.

Then, the team broke the news that he has a sprained right ankle. They’ll check on him again in a week. At first, there were whispers he might be out for several weeks, which would have been a real blow.

Losing Barnes is tough for the Raptors, who are already struggling this season. But hey, it’s not the end of the world. They’re more focused on the draft than the playoffs right now. Barnes has been playing like an All-Star, averaging over 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists per game. The team definitely plays better with him on the court.

For now, it looks like they won’t rush him back. Let’s hope he heals up quickly!
