Birmingham: So, here’s the scoop. Twista Cheese, a rapper from Birmingham, just got found guilty for posting a video that was deemed pretty menacing about Tommy Robinson. It all went down in court, and he was hit with a charge for sending a grossly offensive message online.
The 30-year-old, who goes by Omar Abdirizak, had his trial at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court. He initially denied the charge but ended up being convicted. The video was posted on social media between August 1 and 10, and it caught the attention of Robinson, who shared it on X, which used to be Twitter.
Interestingly, prosecutors had dropped another charge against him earlier, which was about conveying false information. Instead, they went with this new charge. During the trial, the judge granted him unconditional bail, and it was noted that a police officer would be the only witness.
This case comes on the heels of some serious protests in the UK last summer after a tragic incident where three young girls were stabbed in a mass knife attack in Southport. It’s a wild situation, and more updates are expected to follow.
