Perth: So, there’s this British YouTuber and musician, Yung Filly, who’s in some serious trouble. He’s been charged with reckless driving while he’s out on bail for some pretty heavy allegations of rape and choking a woman.
His real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, and he’s 29. Cops caught him speeding in Perth’s eastern suburbs, going 158 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. Yikes!
They impounded his car, and he’s got to show up in Perth Magistrates Court next Thursday. On top of that, he’s also accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s after a gig in Perth back in September.
He was arrested in Brisbane and brought back to Perth, where he first appeared in court last month. This guy has a massive following online, with 1.8 million YouTube subscribers and tons of fans on Instagram and TikTok.
He’s facing a bunch of charges, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault causing bodily harm. Plus, he’s accused of putting pressure on the woman’s neck, which is just awful.
As of now, he hasn’t entered a plea, and he might have to stick around in Western Australia for a while as he waits for his trial. His bail conditions are pretty strict—he had to give up his passport, put up a $100,000 security, and check in with the police every day.
Oh, and fun fact: he was born in Colombia and started his YouTube journey back in 2013, then jumped into music in 2017. He’s even hosted some TV shows, like BBC’s Hot Property in 2018.
