Rams troll 49ers with boombox graphic after key divisional win

Los Angeles: So, the Rams just had a big win over the 49ers, right? After that 12-6 game at Levi’s Stadium, they couldn’t resist a little trolling. They jumped on social media right after the game to poke fun at the 49ers. They shared a graphic of the 49ers’ boombox, which is a big deal for San Francisco, but they put it in the trash. Ouch!

That boombox has been part of the 49ers’ pregame hype for a while now. It really got attention during their playoff win against the Cowboys back in 2021. Since then, other teams have tried to take shots at the 49ers using that same boombox. So, the Rams’ move wasn’t exactly groundbreaking, but hey, they just ended the 49ers’ slim playoff hopes.

Now, the 49ers are sitting at 6-8 after that loss, and this was the first time since 2018 that the Rams swept them in the season. Even if the Rams’ trolling wasn’t super original, they definitely earned the right to have a little fun at the 49ers’ expense.
