Los Angeles: So, Sean McVay, the Rams coach, is still feeling the love for Odell Beckham Jr. After the Dolphins let him go, everyone’s buzzing about what’s next for the star receiver.
Remember when Beckham joined the Rams midseason back in 2021? He was a game-changer, helping them snag the Super Bowl title. Now, with him on the market again, could history repeat itself?
McVay was asked if he’d want Beckham back. He said he’s got a lot on his plate right now but definitely has love for Odell. It’s clear they have a bond, especially since Beckham crashed McVay’s wedding last year!
The Rams aren’t exactly desperate for a receiver, though. With Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp leading the charge, plus Demarcus Robinson and Tutu Atwell making plays, they’re in decent shape. But Robinson’s been a bit banged up lately.
It’s wild to think back to when the Rams signed Beckham after he was cut by the Browns. Just hours later, Robert Woods got hurt, and Beckham stepped up big time, catching 27 passes and scoring five touchdowns in just eight games.
He even scored in the Super Bowl against the Bengals before that knee injury sidelined him. After a year off, he played for the Ravens and then signed with the Dolphins this season, but it didn’t pan out.
Beckham’s had a tough time lately, catching only nine passes for 55 yards this season. He was a superstar with the Giants, but it’s been a while since he hit those heights. Still, you can’t help but wonder if McVay might bring him back into the fold.
Stay tuned, because this could get interesting!
