Merthyr Mawr: Rabbit Run Wales is gearing up for its 2025 event, and guess what? They’re adding a brand new 40K trail route!
This event is super popular and sold out last year. Early bird tickets for the original 12K distance are already flying off the shelves.
So, if you’re thinking about joining in, you better act fast. There are only a few general entry tickets left.
Mark your calendars for July 19, because that’s when the fun kicks off at the beautiful Merthyr Mawr Estate.
The new 40K route will take you along the stunning south Wales coastline, including the Glamorgan Heritage Coast and the cliffs at Ogmore-by-Sea and Southerndown.
And don’t worry, the beloved 12K route is still there, featuring lovely woodland trails, a river crossing, and a thrilling descent down the Big Dipper, which is Wales’ highest sand dune.
Steve Brace, the race director at Run 4 Wales, shared his excitement about the event. He mentioned how popular it is and how they’re thrilled to expand for 2025.
He also urged anyone who hasn’t signed up yet to do so quickly to avoid missing out.
Plus, there’s more! The event will also have a 2K Bunny family fun run, a 4K Double Bunny Run, and even a 100m toddler dash.
If you want to make a weekend out of it, there are camping packages and a forest sauna available too!
