Assistant Commissioner Charysse Pond made it clear that the police won’t tolerate any incitement of violence or hatred in the community.
She emphasized that there’s no room for antisemitism or any form of prejudice. Thanks to new laws in Queensland, serious vilification and hate crimes are now treated as criminal offenses, and the police are ready to take action against offenders.
