A Quebec fugitive has been confirmed dead in Mexico, with reports suggesting he was murdered in a resort town after a long manhunt.

Playa del Carmen: So, it turns out a guy named Mathieu Bélanger, who was wanted in Quebec, has been killed in Mexico. The RCMP confirmed it, and local news is calling it a murder.
Bélanger had been on the run since 2022 when Quebec police wanted him for having illegal guns. He was also linked to the Hells Angels and was involved in some shady drug stuff.
According to reports, he was shot in a parking lot by some guys on a motorcycle right after he left the gym. Talk about a dramatic exit!
