Washington D.C.: So, it turns out two Proud Boys members are in hot water again. They’ve been hit with new conspiracy charges for their actions during the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

These guys, Nicholas Ochs and Nicholas DeCarlo, were already serving time for their roles in the chaos. They had pleaded guilty to obstructing an official proceeding back in 2022, and now they’re facing even more trouble.

The new charges came in a superseding indictment filed by prosecutors. Ochs, by the way, is a founding member of the Proud Boys in Hawaii and even ran for a Republican state House seat once.

Now, the Proud Boys are known as a right-wing extremist group. They like to call themselves a “pro-Western fraternal organization,” but let’s be real, they’ve been involved in some pretty serious stuff. Remember when Trump told them to “stand back and stand by”? Yeah, that was just before the 2020 election.

Anyway, Ochs and DeCarlo raised funds to get to D.C. for the riot. As they got closer to the Capitol, Ochs was all fired up, claiming they were there to stop the “steal,” referring to those wild election fraud claims.

Things escalated quickly. Ochs threw a smoke grenade at the officers trying to protect the Capitol. And when DeCarlo asked if the folks inside were scared, Ochs was like, “Yeah, and I f****** love it!” Talk about reckless.

They even pointed out Nancy Pelosi’s office to other rioters and DeCarlo wrote “Murder the Media” on a door inside the Capitol. Ochs recorded it all on his phone, and they even took selfies in front of it. Can you believe that?

As they left, DeCarlo was feeling pretty proud of himself, saying, “You’re welcome, America.” Meanwhile, Trump is out here promising to pardon his supporters involved in the insurrection. He’s making it a top priority as he kicks off his new administration.

With nearly 1,600 people charged in connection to the January 6 events, it’s clear this saga isn’t over yet. Ochs and DeCarlo, still behind bars, didn’t have a chance to comment on their new charges.
